Public Access Computers
Fondulac District Library provides free public access to computers for adults and children on a walk-in basis. Patrons are granted a minimum of thirty minutes computer time and may extend their session if no one is waiting. Computers are available for patrons who wish to search the Internet, use office and media software, access e-mail accounts, and more.
Computers in the Children’s Department are reserved for children and adults accompanying children to the library. Computers on the second floor are reserved for patrons age 14 and older only.
Anyone wishing to use a computer must agree to the library’s Internet policy agreement when signing on to a new Internet session. A Parent/guardian of computer users under age 10 must be present to log the child on to the Internet and must agree to the library’s Internet policy agreement.
Wi-Fi Internet Access
Free public wireless Internet access is available at Fondulac District Library. Wi-Fi uses high frequency radio signals to transmit and receive data over limited distances.
Printing
Printing is available from the library’s public access computers and from personal laptops and devices connected to the library’s Wi-Fi. Patrons also can utilize the library’s mobile printing service to print remotely from smartphones, tablets, and computers and pick up their printouts at the library. There are two ways to utilize the library’s mobile printing service:

Visit a print release station at the library to retrieve your mobile print job. Print jobs will be available for 24 hours once they are submitted. If you need assistance, please see a library staff member.
Printing cost:
- 10 cents each for letter-size black and white printouts (20 cents for double sided)
- 25 cents each for letter-size color printouts (50 cents for double sided)
Patrons may bring resume paper for use in the printers. Please see a staff member before printing your documents to have it loaded into the appropriate printer.
ScanStation
The library offers self-service scanning and outbound faxing through its easy-to-use ScanStation. Use the touchscreen station to save to USB, send to email or Google Docs, print to our black and white or color printers, or send by fax.
SCAN TO FAX
Fax scanned documents. Outgoing faxes only. Delivery confirmation available by email only.$1.00 per page, domestic or international.
SCAN TO PRINT
Print scanned documents to library printers.10 cents each for black and white printouts. 25 cents each for color printouts.
SCAN TO SAVE
Save scanned documents to USB (flash drive). Save scanned documents to Google Docs/Drive. Patrons must know their Google login and password. FREE.
SCAN TO EMAIL
Email scanned documents. FREE.

Save/email in the following formats: PDF, searchable PDF, Word, JPEG, and TIFF.
