We are potters, ceramicists, glass artists, painters, printmakers. We create art to express ourselves. People with cognitive differences are people. We live in neighborhoods. We are engaged in the world around us when shopping at our favorite stores, when visiting museums, libraries, and other local attractions. We grow our social capital by going to the movies, attending church, going on vacation, and eating out with our friends. We attend classes, volunteer, and work in the community.
