Quiet Reading and Local History Room

For over seventy-five years, Fondulac District Library has collected items significant to the people and history of East Peoria. All of these items are so unique or precious that they can only be viewed in the library. Fondulac District Library’s local history collection is available in its Quiet Reading and Local History Room on the second floor. Bound volumes are browseable, and additional items are available for in-library use. Please inquire at the second floor’s information desk for retrieval of and assistance with these materials. Staff also can assist in locating historical items at other institutions.
