- BE IT ORDAINED that it shall be unlawful for a borrower to fail to return a book, magazine, recording, or other library material to this library on the date it is due.
- BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that it shall be unlawful for any borrower to make a false statement on an application card or a library card.
- BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that upon the failure of any borrower to return a book, magazine, recording, or other library material to this library on the date it is due, said borrower shall be liable for the replacement fee of the unreturned item, which is the cost of the item as determined by the library, plus a processing fee per the library’s fee schedule.
- BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that any person who willfully makes a false statement on an application for a library card shall be required to surrender the library card so received and shall be subject to a maximum fine of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for making such false statement, and further be subject to fees for failure to return or for the damage of library materials obtained through the use of a library card obtained with false information.
