Pets Rule! is a relatively new easy chapter book series that was first published in 2022 by Susan Tan. It has seven books in the series, and is growing! This series is brand new to our library though, with having just been added to our shelves last month! It is perfect for grades kindergarten to 3rd grade.
Pets Rule! follows Ember, a rescue chihuahua, who is adopted by the Chin family. His goal is to take over the world. However, Ember and his new-found pet friends, in the Chin household, run into other animals throughout the series who appear to have their own nefarious goals as well. All the characters are adorable, and Ember grows throughout the series from an aspiring evil-overlord, to a caring friend.
